Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on campus in student homes to provide care, supervision, and development support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same student group. Requires commitment to a two-spouse, on-campus living arrangement, on-duty nine days on followed by three days off, and relocation to the assigned on-campus location. Benefits include salary per person ($46,917) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Two-spouse role must both submit individual applications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Two spouses aged 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Relocation to Hershey, PA required per posting
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
