Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on campus in student homes to provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students, including administering medications, coordinating routines, driving to activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. The role requires on-campus housing, a nine-days-on/three-days-off cycle with eventual placement in a single student home, relocation to Hershey, PA, and a valid driver’s license with the ability to drive student vans. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. This position emphasizes family-like supervision, student development, and adherence to campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol). Two spouses must apply individually and meet age and experience requirements; at least a high school diploma or GED is required and lifting up to 50 lbs is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person couple role
- Both spouses must be 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in devotions and chapel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
