Job Summary
Flex Houseparents: a two-person, full-time role for married couples living on campus at Milton Hershey School, supervising 8–13 students in a home setting, managing routines, transportation, devotions, budgeting, and student activities; initial nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule transitioning to a placed houseparent, with relocation to Hershey, PA and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
