Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent positions at Milton Hershey School for married couples. Live on-campus in student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and rotate a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits (medical/dental/vision, retirement options) and paid training; requires high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; applicants must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement for consideration (both spouses must submit individual employment applications)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
