Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) provide care, supervision, and mentorship for ~8–13 students in on-campus homes at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off duty to a placed houseparent role. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and housing/meals while on duty. Requires two-spouse employment applications and aging requirements; on-campus housing is provided as part of total compensation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
