Job Summary
Student Support Caregiver role: Full-time Flex Houseparents living on Milton Hershey School campus, a two-person married couple responsible for 8–13 students per home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with transition from Flex to Placed Houseparent. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couple
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
