Job Summary
Couples reside in on-campus student homes as Full-time Flex Houseparents, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for groups of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a rotating nine-on/three-off schedule to a stable placed-houseparent arrangement with the same student group. The role emphasizes supervising and guiding students’ academic, emotional, and social development in a structured, family-like environment, with mandatory collaboration between spouses for the two-person position and eligibility contingent on two-year-married status and related requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples
- Proven integrity and professionalism
