Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside on-campus in student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and report on household operations. The role follows a 9-days-on, 3-days-off schedule with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Applicants must be a legally married two-person couple, both spouses aged 27 or older, with a high school diploma or GED, and be able to drive student vans; relocation assistance and paid training are provided. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Two-spouse role
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
