Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (full-time) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and support 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, and care; manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, accompany students to Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting; initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to supervise and mentor youth
