Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents provide care, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing household budgeting/reporting. The position starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive health benefits, PTO, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
