Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. The role involves daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent assignment with the same students. The position requires a two-person, legally married couple (both 27+) and includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. The houseparents live in on-campus housing and support student academic, emotional, and social development in a structured, family-like environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
