Job Summary
Student Support Caregiver role at Milton Hershey School as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of ~8–13 students, managing routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Compensation includes per-person salary with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Requires two-spouse application and a strong commitment to student development in a structured, faith-respecting campus environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married status
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role model for students
