Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise ~8–13 students, provide care and guidance, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same student group. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, free housing and meals on duty).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- On-campus on-site residential role for adults living with students
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
