Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on Milton Hershey School campus to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with nine days on duty followed by three days off, eventually transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role and living with the same student group.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home

- Must be legally married for at least two years
