Job Summary
Student Support Caregiver role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and lead developmental/recreational activities, and lead daily devotions with Sunday Chapel. Initial nine-on/three-off schedule with later transition to a placed houseparent role; relocation to Hershey area with on-campus housing benefits and comprehensive benefits. Requires caring experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with vans certification, ability to lift 50 lbs, and alignment with a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Employment applications must be completed by both spouses.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
