Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School located on-campus in Hershey, PA. Cavalry of responsibilities includes providing daily supervision and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting and reporting, with an initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, and eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person around $46,917 plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance; requires a legally married couple and completion of separate applications.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
