Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person couple) reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision and mentorship to 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent in the same home; relocation benefits and comprehensive benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Experience working with youth
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
