Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting; initial schedule is nine days on duty followed by three days off with eventual placement into a consistent student-home assignment; relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Validity to lift 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
