Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of approximately 8–13 students. They manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and follow a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a Plac ed Houseparent role with the same group of students. This position requires a legally married couple with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27+, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role includes relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and on-campus housing benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year legal marriage required for both spouses
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Desire to provide supervision, mentorship, and guidance to students
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
