Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School and provide supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting and reporting, and ensuring student wellness. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a consistent Houseparent in the same student home. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Two spouses married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Experience with youth preferred
