Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) to reside on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and fostering academic, emotional, and social growth. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; comprehensive benefits and housing are included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-person role
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proselytizing prohibited in devotional context
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
