Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and plan developmental and recreational engagements. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting while maintaining a structured, family-like environment. Houseparents work a nine-day-on, three-day-off rotation. Upon hire, support various homes before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Both spouses must be married for at least two years, aged 27 or older, and hold a valid U.S. driver's license. This role requires demonstrated integrity and adherence to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus policy.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
