Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) provide on-campus supervision, care, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students in a home-like setting. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, mentoring, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing household budgeting and reporting. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off duty schedule and evolves into a placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a safe, smoke-free, weapon-free campus
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA (placement in on-campus homes)
