Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions and chapel services. Plan developmental and recreational engagements while overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Work a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time when students are in school. Married couples must be at least 27, hold valid driver's licenses, and commit to a smoke-free, alcohol-free environment. This two-person role supports a career-focused education for disadvantaged youth at Milton Hershey School, fostering a structured, family-like environment for academic, emotional, and social growth.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
