Job Summary
Two married couples reside in on-campus student homes as Full-time Flex Houseparents, providing supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing daily routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like environment. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and may transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person with comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO; requirement for both spouses to apply individually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
