Job Summary
Student Support Caregiver - Full-time Flex Houseparents: a two-person, on-campus, live-in role for married couples to care for 8–13 students in on-site homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transitions into a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($46,917) with total compensation around $180,000 per couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive health benefits, retirement options, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model expectations for students
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
