Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive to activities, plan and participate in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a work schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and eventual placement in a single student home; benefits include relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and housing/ meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver\'s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Willingness to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Two-person role for couples
