Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School: married couple living in on-campus student homes to provide daily care, mentorship, and supervision for ~8–13 students; responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting; initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living with the same students; relocation assistance provided and housing on campus included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a drug/alcohol-free campus
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA and live on-campus
- Must complete individual employment applications
- Experience with youth preferred
