Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, supervision, and structured, family-like routines for a group of 8–13 students, including daily supervision, medication administration, transportation to activities, and planning development and recreational activities; couples will work a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle, with future placement as a Placed Houseparent living with the same students, and will receive relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
