Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside on campus in student homes to provide care, supervision, and guidance for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and household reporting. The role progresses from initial placement with various homes to a fixed Houseparent assignment living with the same group of students. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty; relocation assistance provided and relocation is part of the role. The position is offered as a 9-on/3-off schedule during initial phase, with full-time benefits and compensation per person, plus housing and meals during duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-spouse role must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; act as role models for students
