Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents position at Milton Hershey School; married couples living on campus to provide supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of 8–13 students in a residential home. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and managing household budgeting/reporting. Initial schedule is nine days on, three days off, transitioning to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided; benefits include comprehensive health plans, retirement, paid time off, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-person role
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
