Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. The married couple resides on-campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Responsibilities include budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule initially, then transitioning to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. Skills and experience in youth work, mentoring, organization, and faith-based activities are valued.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Chapel services
