Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) live in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided, along with comprehensive benefits and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Capacity to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
