Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus to care for and guide a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, conducting daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and supporting multiple student homes on a rotating nine-on/three-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role with a consistent student home. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a legally married couple (both spouses 27+), with relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
