Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students, including daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing household routines and budgeting. They follow a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, later transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. Strong emphasis on safety, faith-based activities, and 50-lbs lifting capability; requires a legally married couple for consideration and completion of individual applications by both spouses. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; salary is prorated per person and includes housing and meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married couple
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Committment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapels
