Job Summary
Two-person on-campus Houseparent role for married couples who will reside in student homes at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship of 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role progresses from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA with benefits including salary per person, employer-provided housing meals, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
