Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/three-days-off cycle to a placed houseparent living with the same group. Requires married couple status, relocation to Hershey/Medina, OH, and willingness to work a highly structured on-campus schedule. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
