Job Summary
Student Support Caregiver roles for married couples at Milton Hershey School; two-person, on-campus live-in houseparent positions in which couples supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and chapel services, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, with paid training and comprehensive benefits; requires both spouses to apply individually, be legally married for at least two years, both aged 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, experience with youth, and a commitment to a smoke- and alcohol-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-person role
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in devotions and chapel services
- No alcohol on duty; smoke-free campus
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to pass background checks and health screenings
