Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside on-campus, supervising 8–13 students in a residence, providing care, mentorship, daily routines, medications administration, transportation to activities, and leadership of daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Initially supports multiple student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on, three days off, with eventual placement to a single student home. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Two-year marriage minimum for eligibility
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
