Job Summary
Student Support Caregiver roles for two-person, married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition over time to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Schedule initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits included. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a two-person, married-couple commitment to student well-being and campus policies.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in home
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
