Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live on campus in student homes to supervise and support 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and development opportunities. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off duty to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person with total compensation around $168,000 per couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
