Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School, residing on-campus with a group of 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, daily devotions and chapel attendance, and budgeting/household reporting; initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living with the same student group.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage minimum (must be legally married for at least two years)
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism; model for students
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA or Sumner, IL as assigned
