Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role on Milton Hershey School campus. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for ~8–13 students, including daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. After initial period, transition to a placed houseparent living/working with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; salary is $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 total per couple) with housing, meals on duty, utilities, and more. Requires two spouses who are legally married, age 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to meet physical and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person couples role (two spouses)
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to campus safety policies (smoke-free and weapon-free)
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Residence in on-campus homes as part of role
- Relocation to Hershey, PA (on-site)
