Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two married spouses) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise ~8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and mentorship; manage household routines and student schedules; administer medications; drive students to activities; plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities; lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel; oversee budgeting and household reporting; initial nine days on / three days off schedule with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students in their own home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two years married
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Must be able to live on campus; on-campus housing provided
