Job Summary
Two-person married couple will reside on campus as Flex Houseparents, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students in a family-like home environment. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total compensation around $168,000 per couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to complete individual employment applications for both spouses
- Proven reliability and ability to work in a home-like setting with youth
- Proficiency in leading daily devotions and Chapel participation
