Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus to provide care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students, including daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, driving to activities, planning development/recreational activities, daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. After initial nine-days-on/three-days-off duties, they transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement options, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- High school diploma or GED required
