Job Summary
Two-person married couple are Full-time Flex Houseparents residing on-campus, providing care, supervision, and support for 8–13 students in a family-like home setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and supporting multiple student homes with a nine-on/three-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, married couple for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
