Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes in Coventry, RI and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/three-days-off cycle to a placed houseparent arrangement with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person (~$46,917) with total family compensation around $180k, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid training, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required
