Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to provide daily supervision, mentorship, and leadership of approximately 8–13 students, including managing household routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students in their own home. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be age 27 or older. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Relocation assistance provided
