Job Summary
Two-person Full-time on-campus Housing Caregiver role for married couples (Flex Houseparents) supervising and mentoring 8–13 students in an on-campus home; responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, driving to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting; initial nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students; relocation to Hershey, PA required with on-campus housing, meals, utilities included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
